Privacy policy

The data controller is BME InnoLab Zrt. (1111 Budapest, Műegyetem rakpart 3.), of which the Conformity Assessment Directorate is an organizational unit. The processing of personal data is governed by the company's data processing and data protection regulation (CEO Instruction No. 7/2025, effective from December 1, 2025).

The form on the "Contact" page opens the visitor's own email program with the pre-filled message. The website does not store or transmit the data entered into the form; the email is sent by the visitor themselves.

Incoming emails are processed by the staff of the recipient office for the purpose of responding to the inquiry, in accordance with the company's regulations.

Website traffic is measured by Plausible Analytics. The measurement does not use cookies, does not identify visitors, and does not track them on other websites; it results in aggregated, non-personally identifiable data stored in the European Union.

Website hosting is provided by Vercel Inc. (United States of America). When opening the website, the hosting provider's server log records the visitor's IP address, the requested page address, the time of the visit, and the browser identifier. This data processing is based on the legitimate interest in the secure operation of the website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

The hosting provider is located outside the European Union; the legal basis for the data transfer is the European Commission's adequacy decision (EU–US Data Privacy Framework) or standard contractual clauses, in accordance with the hosting provider's current certification.

The website does not place cookies on the visitor's device.

The data subject may request access to, rectification, erasure, or restriction of processing of their personal data, object to the processing, and exercise their right to data portability. The request can be submitted to the data controller at the contact details below.
